The Tour de France Is Coming. Time To Wear Something Different.

Every July it happens.

The Tour de France appears on our televisions, our social feeds fill with cycling content, and suddenly everyone starts talking about bikes again.

For some people it's the tactics. For others it's the mountain stages. Some just enjoy watching riders suffer up impossible climbs while sitting comfortably on the sofa with a brew or a beer.

But if you're anything like us, the Tour does something else.

It makes you want to ride.

It reminds you of Sunday mornings, café stops, getting dropped by your mates, finding your rhythm again, and that feeling when a bike ride somehow turns into one of the best days you've had all week.

That's exactly why we started Urban-Velo.

Not to create another race-team clothing brand.

Not to cover everything in sponsors and fluorescent colours.

Just simple designs inspired by real cycling culture.

The rides.

The stories.

The bikes.

The people.

The moments that only cyclists understand.

A T-Shirt That Gets People Talking

One thing we've discovered since launching Urban-Velo is that our best designs all have something in common.

People ask about them.

Whether it's the Dirty Faces Win Races tee, the BMX-inspired designs, or one of our more obscure cycling references, somebody always stops and says:

"What's the story behind that?"

And that's the point.

We'd rather create a conversation than a replica team jersey.

Limited Runs Only

Unlike the big brands, we don't produce thousands of each design.

Many Urban-Velo designs are produced in small batches and once they're gone, they're gone.

That means you're unlikely to see somebody else wearing the same thing at your local café stop, club ride, sportive or pub garden.

The Tour Starts Soon. Your Next Ride Starts Now.

The Tour de France will create its usual heroes.

There will be breakaways, crashes, mountain battles and moments we'll still be talking about next winter.

But long after the Tour finishes, we'll still be doing what cyclists always do.

Meeting friends.

Riding bikes.

Stopping for coffee.

Talking rubbish.

Planning the next ride.

So if you're looking for something a little different this summer, have a look through the Urban-Velo collection.

You might just find the design that gets everyone talking.

And unlike the yellow jersey, you can actually buy one.

Ride safe.
