At Urban-Velo we've always loved the personalities behind these jerseys as much as the racing itself. That's exactly what inspired our Jersey Crew T-Shirt - four cartoon characters, each representing one of cycling's most iconic jersey colours with a little Urban-Velo personality thrown in.

The Boss
Yellow Jersey
The yellow jersey is cycling's most recognisable prize. It belongs to the rider leading the overall race after every stage and ultimately the winner of the event.
Winning the yellow jersey isn't about being the fastest on a single day. It's about consistency, intelligence, climbing ability, time trial strength and surviving three demanding weeks of racing.
Our Boss character wears the famous yellow jersey because they're calm, confident and always in control. The rider everyone else keeps an eye on.

The Escape Artist
Green Jersey
Not every rider dreams of winning the whole race.
Some just want to be the fastest.
The green jersey rewards the best sprinter. These riders explode from the bunch at incredible speed, timing their effort to perfection before launching for the finish line.
Our Escape Artist represents the rider who can never resist an attack. Full of energy, impossible to catch and always looking for the next sprint sign.
Whether you're racing to the café stop or the town limits sign, every group ride has an Escape Artist.
The Climber
Polka Dot Jersey
Perhaps the toughest jersey of them all.
The famous red polka dots belong to the King of the Mountains, awarded to the rider who collects the most points over the highest climbs.
Mountain specialists are usually lighter, fearless and seem happiest when everyone else is suffering uphill.
For Urban-Velo, there was only one animal that could represent this jersey...
A mountain goat.
Sure-footed, determined and completely at home where the roads get steep.

The Rookie
White Jersey
Every champion starts somewhere.
The white jersey celebrates the best young rider in the race, recognising future stars before they become household names.
It's about energy, fearlessness and believing anything is possible.
Our Rookie is a young rabbit.
Fast, playful and always full of enthusiasm, even if experience hasn't quite caught up yet.
